"Inspiration comes from everywhere"- Charlelie Charlelie's work is explained in no other way than incredible. This was an exhibition that I visited last year and one that is never far from my thoughts... Charlelie is a french artist who has permanently moved to New York creating utterly spectacular art work. He mixes photography and painting whilst also expressing himself through sculpture, writing and music. I loved the way he intertwines his photographic visuals with extension painting creating such exciting and alive art. His New York industrial landscapes have such a buzz to them, with so much movement, life, noise, and arousal of the senses... you can almost smell those cinnamon pretzels chilling on the street food stands.
